The temperature dropped rapidly and the
air turned from hot to cold in a matter of minutes.
It slowly started to rain; at first just
a few cold drops fell from the sky but it soon started pouring and a few short
heartbeats later the land was soaked.
The storm moved on as quickly as it
came; perhaps to another city in need of refreshment.
I love those sudden storms. Almost as much as I love the breaking sunshine when they leave.
ReplyDeleteSame here; there is always some kind of a relief after a proper summer storm.
DeleteA quick scene that is as cool and refreshing as its subject.
ReplyDeleteThat was my intention. Thanks for commenting sweetie :)
DeleteA beautifully painted story. I love a storm after really hot - close weather. Do you use the term 'close' there? You know when its been hot for days and there's no air and no wind!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dicky, I'm glad you liked it. No, we don't use that term, at least I've never heard it.
DeleteSuch beautiful imagery!
ReplyDeleteI always go out and look for a rainbow after a sudden storm in the summer.
Thank you :)
DeleteLove the post. Id prefer the sudden storms to stay away. (My windows are down in my car)
ReplyDeleteGeotermisk uppvärmning kan vara något för dig att överväga. Om du bor i rätt typ av område, kommer du att kunna dra nytta av den värme som jorden naturligt producerar.
