100 words: Restlessness

I lay in bed, wide-awake. I think about everything and nothing, knowing that pondering upon the same things over and over again won’t solve anything; knowing that wondering about the same questions won’t give me any answers.

I’ve tried doing everything I could remember to beat insomnia; I’ve spent hours trying to remember what my grandma did when I couldn’t fall asleep as a child. I did remember all her secret recipes but none have worked.

Even listening to his slow breathing doesn’t calm me down. Restlessness is boiling inside me and I can’t find a way to appease it.

  1. My word. Have you been in my head? It's 2:30 every moring for me....until five or so. I've actually counted backwards from 300. WTH?

Darling, think of it like this: imagine the life that has no examination, no questions, no doubts. How careless the heart that doesn't ache, eh? (or maybe that's just my jealousy...) *sigh*

Good night love, see you at 2:30...

  2. Sorry you've had problems sleeping. On occasion, melatonin work with me-I end up developing a tolerance to other sleep aides, and I've tried almost all of them.

  3. I sometimes manage to stop worrying long enough to get a few snores in, but then I realize too quickly that I'm asleep, and I wake up from the surprise of it! I hope your brain calms down soon.

  15. When searching out the best price for a big ticket item, be sure to check the store reviews to see if other customers had a good experience with them. It is also a good idea to check with the Better Business Bureau as well. You want to be sure that the business is legitimate and values you as a client. satta king
