100 words: To the left

I sit at my table and look to the left where a kitchen sink full of dishes is waiting for me. I wish the kitchen wasn’t visible from my spot.

Then, once again, I look to my left, where on the table next to my computer two thick books are waiting for me to read them.

Lastly I look at the computer screen, where a blank white page is waiting for me to put words for my new blog post on it.

I decide to execute today's tasks in reverse order, starting with the pleasant ones and slowly start typing.

  1. I prefer to walk blindly around, only peeking one eye open when accuracy deems it essential. You know like when using the bathroom or the stove. :)

    1. That's a good method, I might use it sometimes. :)

  2. I envy that you have an order to know how to reverse it, Tamara. There is always something to the left in my world too. Have enjoyed getting to know your blog and small moments and scenes from your life over recent weeks and months.

  3. But what was to the right? Always a pleasure to see a new post from you pop up in my blog roll.

    1. Ah, to the right is always my Moleskine diary and my precious BlackBerry. :)

  4. As soon as I read the first line, I looked to my left at the stack of dishes waiting for me! I suppose they'll still be there when I'm finished reading blogs.
    I like this post.
